Actress Toyin Abraham apologises to Mercy Aigbe weeks after their IG spat

Few weeks ago, Nollywood actresses, Mercy Aigbe and Toyin Abraham, had a spat on IG. Trouble started when Mercy went to congratulate Toyin Aimakhu's ex-husband, Adeniyi Johnson's fiancee, on their upcoming wedding. Factory Worker ‘Rapes’ Colleague At Knife-Point

The Police in Lagos yesterday arraigned a 21-year-old factory worker, Timothy Nwaokema, at an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly raping his co-worker at knife-point. The accused is standing trial before Magistrate B.O Osunsanya, on a charge of rape, to which he pleaded ‘not guilty’. Nwaokema was admitted to N200,000 bail with two sureties in the like sum. Prosecuting Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Ezekiel Ayorinde, told the court that the accused committed the offence on March 6 at his residence. It’s an abomination to call your husband by his name or pet name - Pastor says

A pastor has told women that it is an abomination for them to call their husbands by his name or a pet name. Pastor Chris Ojigbani, who calls himself a marriage and relationship expert, said a man is a woman's Lord and as such, she should never call him by his name or by a pet name. He said names such as "sweetheart, darling, even baby" should never be uttered by women in relation to their husbands. He was especially opposed to the use of "baby" and said it belittles a man. Lol. Kidnappers of Edo APC chairman demands N20m ransom

Kidnappers of the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State have reportedly demanded a N20 million ransom. Henry Ashofor was kidnapped by last Saturday near Aiyetoro along the Igarra- Ibillo road on his way from Igarra where he had attended a burial ceremony with other politicians. The abductors were said to have called his wife Sunday evening, demanding N20 million which, sources said family members wanted reduced to N600,000. A bride-to-be has filmed herself fatally drinking poison and sent the clip to her ex-boyfriend after he allegedly blackmailed her. The young woman, named as Nisha Devidas, is seen drinking a thick black substance in the video at her home in the village of Rohini in the western Indian state of Maharashtra.
